夏に元気がでるものと言えばウナギ!レストラン武蔵が自信をもって出す鰻重丼は身が締まって大振りなのが売り。香ばしく焼いたウナギと旨みたっぷりのタレがさらに味を引き立て、とろける様に口の中で交わる。さらに高品質にこだわったお米にもタレが染みているので一粒も残させない美味しさだ。お味噌汁もついてくる。

Summer is a great time to enjoy unagi meals to keep you healthy. If you like unagi, you should definitely try Unaju Bowl at Musashi! The bowl comes with a large piece of unagi, which leaves all unagi lovers satisfied! The grilled unagi is very tender, and the special unagi sauce makes the dish taste even better. The bowl comes with high quality rice and miso soup.

ヤキソバお好み焼き Yakisoba Okonomiyaki

湯気でホワホワとカツオ節が躍るお好み焼き。生地にはエビ、かまぼこ、イカなどの海鮮類や野菜が詰まっており食べ応え十分!日本人なら冷酒を片手に夜風にあたりながらハフハフ言いながら食べるのが夏の醍醐味。日本の居酒屋を模した店内は正に日本の夏を思わせる。ユニークに盛られたヤキソバを崩しながら召し上がれ。

This wonderful filling okonomiyaki dish is made of shrimp, kamaboko, squid, and other types of seafood and vegetables, topped with dried bonito flakes. It truly captures the summer season for the Japanese people, who would enjoy it on summer nights with chilled sake. 2009年2月のopenから早6年。ローカルの人に愛されるVolcano Curryからは、昨年も夏限定で出して大好評だった激辛牛すじカレーをご紹介。じっくりと煮込んでほろほろに柔らかくなった牛すじと、門外不出の製法で美味しさを濃縮したカレーを合わせた一皿。辛い物には目がない方にもご納得いただける辛さは額にジワジワと汗がでてきて、クセになる。

Volcano Curry first opened its doors five years ago, in February 2009, and adapted perfectly to local tastes. This summer only it introduces extra spicy beef tendon curry. The unique combination of beef tendon and curry surpasses the taste of any beef curry. Thoroughly cooked beef tendon is melting in your mouth.

Summer special menu from Bashamichi, a restaurant famous for its delicious meat. This cold noodle vegetable dish comes with properly cooked thick noodles and well-balanced sweet-sour dressing and is served with a variety of toppings, including avocado, bean sprouts, kinshi-tamago egg strips, ham, and cucumber. 今年で4年目を迎える、EmeryvilleのKYU2。この夏おススメがドラゴンロール。天麩羅ロールを鰻とアボカドでラッピングしトビコを載せた大人気ロール。味だけでなくお皿に描かれたドランゴンの絵柄はまさに芸術作品。SFダウンタウンにオープンしたKYU3も人気店。

This summer, the four-year-old restaurant KYU2 in Emeryville offers its special Dragon Roll. Made of shrimp tempura roll and cucumber topped with unagi, masago, and avocado, this dish will delight customers with its taste and artful presentation. Over 15 types of fresh fish. Sashimi items of the day included yellowtail, tuna, bonito, salmon, sea urchin, squid, flying fish roe, salmon roe, mackerel, sweet prawn, surf clams, amberjack, flatfish, scallop, and ocean trout. This large volume sashimi platter comes with seasonal fresh fish and goes perfectly with beer, sake, or shochu.

The original creation by Gokaku chef who has over 20 years of experience in both Japan and the US, including preparing kaiseki meals. Fried shrimp with a slice of lemon adds crunchy texture to the dish.

The delicate and smooth Sengetsu Rice Shochu is best served on the rocks. The lovely pink Koi Shisou Shochu is made of Japanese basil and has a fruity flavor.
